Moving FAQ

Your price is based on the itemized list you provided. This is set as your minimum price. It is important to have an accurate itemized list before your shipment is picked up so you will have an accurate price. If you have more items that originally listed, it will increase the price

In and Out Moving is a full service moving company. We offer as much or as little service as you require for your move.
We suggest that you are as packed and prepared to move as you can be. For any items that we have to pack, and any of our materials that we have to use, there is an extra cost. For example, a small box costs $4 to buy and $10 to pack. Therefore, it will cost $14 for us to pack any small boxes for you.
***ALL PLASMA TV´S MUST BE IN ORIGINAL BOXES. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL BOX, WE REQUIRE THE USE OF SPECIALLY MADE PLASMA TV BOXES.THE COST FOR THESE ARE $100 (including packing).

You should receive a call from our office within a week of your items being picked up.
At that time we have had sufficient time to evaluate your shipment and process the initial paperwork. If you do not hear from us within a week, please give our office a call for more information.

In and Out Moving carries all of the insurance required by Law, which is $.60 per pound for any loss or damaged item.
If you would like a more significant policy, please contact www.movinginsurance.com or 888-893-8835 at least 24 hours before your pick up date for full replacement policy.

We give you a 3 day window for the pick-up of your items. You will get a call 24 hours before our driver will be at your home. If you do not hear from the driver by 4 PM on the second day of your pick up window, please give our office a call for more information. You will receive a call from our office within a week with updated information about your shipment. Our dispatcher will call you when your shipment is en route to your final destination. For moves on the East Coast and Mid-West, we will deliver your items within 14 BUSINESS DAYS (excluding Holidays) and on the West Coast within 21 BUSINESS DAYS (excluding Holidays). You will receive a call from our driver within 24 hours of delivering your shipment. If you don´t hear from our driver by 4 pm on the 13th BUSINESS DAY (for east coast) or the 20th BUSINESS DAY (for west coast), please call our office for more information.

We accept 50% of the estimated quote in CASH or POST OFFICE MONEY ORDER due upon pick-up of your shipment. We accept the remaining of the estimated quote, plus any charges for any additional items and any packing materials or services used before we unload your shipment at your final destination.
